What's new

New features and improvements, newest first.

  • New

The account owner can delete a rejected application in Hiring, from its ⋯ menu, after typing the applicant’s name. Its answers and uploaded files go with it, and so does the form link it came through if that link no longer works and nobody else used it. An application that became a person can’t be deleted.

  • New

The account owner can delete a test person from the ⋯ menu on their page, after typing their name. Their payroll record, HR file, forms and documents go together. Anyone who has ever been paid can’t be deleted, and emails sent to them stay on record.

  • New

Send email on a person’s page writes to them from inside the app: a template, files from their Documents, this month’s payslip or a file from your computer. Each email is listed under Emails sent on their Documents tab. Send a form sends its link the same way, with Gmail as the second choice.

  • Better

Accepting a form checks its ID card, phone and email against everyone on file. A clear match opens on Connect with that person picked, and says why. A name alone never picks anyone.

  • Better

Click Payable to date on the pay run or This month to see whose it is: each person, the days counted so far, and the total.

  • Better

The Pay tab lists the month’s covers, and its total counts them.

  • New

Paid on: a month’s pay, a cost on the Owner’s desk and a statutory payment can carry the day the money actually left. A past date records a payment already made, and it counts in the month it was paid.

  • Better

Copy to HR draft lists each field where payroll says something else, and a single field can be copied on its own. Copy to payroll fills payroll’s blanks.

  • Better

A payslip fits on one page. If one truly can’t, the lower part moves whole to the next page, never a stray line.

  • Better

Departments and units agree: a person in a unit takes their department from Structure, a typed department can be linked to its unit or made into one, and Also in puts someone in a second department, counted once.

  • Better

The People menu stays the same on every People page, a person’s page included.

  • Better

A payment can be marked as cash, so it no longer looks like a missing bank receipt.

  • Better

People is easier to read on a big screen: text grows a little with the screen, contrast is stronger, and there is a new font. Spacing stays as it was, and very wide screens use their width.

  • Better

People has a new look: deep green on warm paper, white sheets, real tables with a plain header band, and one green button for the main action on each page. Column names and labels are in plain case. Other sections look as they did.

  • Better

Reactivate is offered only for someone whose last day is in this month. For anyone who left before that, Rehire is the way back, with the first day back and the rate.

  • Better

On a large screen, an open person on the pay run shows the figures on the left and the month beside them. The person’s photo is set by clicking their picture.

  • Better

A person’s Documents tab lists all their files in one place, bank receipts included. When you add a file, pick what it is, and for a bank receipt, which payment. A file already there can be linked to a payment, and that payment’s receipt, WhatsApp and email then carry it. It stays one file.

  • New

This month opens People: what needs you, the month’s money (Payable to date, Paid, Still to pay, To remit), what’s due and what changed, each linking to its screen.

  • Better

People is one list now: everyone in payroll and every staff file not in payroll yet, in one table. Each row shows where the person stands, their employee number and their staff file. Filter by All, Active, Waiting on pay, Not in payroll, Applicants or Former; it opens on Active.

  • Better

Add person asks six things first (name, phone, CNIC, designation, department, join date); the rest sits under More details. If the CNIC, or the same name with the same phone, is already on file, it says so and offers Open existing, so nobody is added twice.

  • Better

The People menu follows the new layout: This month, People, Pay run, Pay plans, Register, History, Hiring, Statutory, Compliance, Settings, with Owner’s desk at the bottom beside Reports. Intake is now called Hiring; its Applications, Documents and Filed tabs are where they were.

  • Better

Pay everyone opens a list you tick, with each person’s bank and account; earlier months still owed start unticked. Pay and Settle externally take the date it was paid.

  • New

Part payments: record cash handed over before the month closes, with the date on the bank receipt and the receipt itself. The month shows what is still owed, Pay rest closes it, and the payslip lists each part payment.

  • New

Late / short on a day: enter the hours worked and the hours short, see what it takes off, and log a colleague who covered the rest in the same save.

  • New

An owner or partner can be added as not on payroll. They stay off the pay run, and the shifts they cover can still be logged, paid or unpaid.

  • New

Plan a raise: Remind me keeps a pay change as Planned until you apply or drop it, and the pay run says when one falls due. Training stages can be added and ended from Change pay.

  • Better

A paid month stays exactly as it was paid: day marks, covers, pay changes, Rehire, Reactivate and Discontinue can no longer change it.

  • Better

Hiring: an application opens beside the list, opening a new one marks it Reviewing, and Accept can add the person straight to payroll with a joining date.

  • New

Compliance is now the documents checklist: which documents each person has on file, with Missing only and a filter by office.

  • Better

Re-copy a live intake link any time; a one-page cost and margin sheet for a quote, with a “what to include” menu; upload your logo straight from the quote or order maker; and a quote-layout fix so the quote number no longer overlaps the heading.

  • Better

The pay proof reads “Receipt” by default (or “Payslip” if you prefer), and your signature can print on receipts, offers, NDAs and experience letters.

  • New

Medical & Dental Billing goes live: record insurance payers, claims and payments, and see what is still owed and for how long.

  • New

A company-wide view for owners running several businesses.

  • New

A new public home page, with your working dashboard moved to its own Today page.
